Meredith Ann Nielson Fischer

Las Vegas, NV- On May 21, 2022

We lost our strong, vibrant, loving mom. She was a young 78 years old. When she wanted something get out of her way. She was a force of nature. Meredith had a passion for celebrating travel, sports, and holidays. During the Christmas season (October through January) there was not a flat surface, railing, banister, or door that went without decoration.

Mom and Tom were avid golfers. The family thought the only reason they had knee replacements was for golf. They lived on a golf course and Mom wanted a golf club on the headstone.

Meredith and Tom loved adventuring around the world. They enjoyed many cruises, road trips, spending time at their timeshare condos, shows, and festivals. Their calendar was always filled with upcoming events.

Meredith was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Fischer. She is survived by her

children Jody, Jason (Tami), Jared (Melissa), and her grandchildren Gabrielle (Garrett), Courtney, Pierce, Archer, and Gunnar. Aubrianne (Austin), Hayden (McKell), Ethan (Mauri), and Mitchell. Great-grandchildren Izabelle, Margo, and Emersyn.

Mom, you were gone too soon, but we know you are near. We know you will be watching over us.

A loving funeral to remember Jody and Meredith will be held on June 4, 2022, with a viewing beginning at 10:00 am and the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ at Latter-day Saints located at 8136 South Old Bingham Highway, West Jordan, Utah. No masks are required.

Internment at Lehi City Cemetery.
