Meridene Iverson Jorgensen 1932 ~ 2012 Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Meridene Iverson Jorgensen, passed away March 3, 2012 in Concord, California. Meridene was born April 6, 1932 in Fillmore, UT to Alma N. Iverson and Florence McKee. She married Kent J. Jorgensen on March 26, 1955 in Elko, NV. The marriage was later solemnized on January 28, 1977 in the Oakland LDS Temple. Meridene loved her sons and grandchildren above all else. She was like a second mother to all her siblings. She spoiled everyone with her love and generosity. She also made the best candy! We enjoyed many family gatherings together and looked forward every year to our sister trips. Because of her love for all of us, we will miss her more than words can express. Meridene is survived by her sons: G. Todd (Marcie) Jorgensen, Alan (Jamie) Jorgensen, and Craig (Teresa) Jorgensen; 7 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers, Dan Iverson and Steve (Cindy) Iverson; sisters, Loraelle (Jim) Weddle, Jilleen (Bill) Richeson, Dee (Dent) Mellen, Pat Rhodes; sister-in-law, Lorraine Iverson. Preceded in death by her husband; son, Bradley; grandson, Connor; parents; brother, Jack Iverson; baby sister, Darnell Iverson and sister-in-law, Chris Iverson.
