Meta Klohoker Adams passed away on October 28, 2015 after battling brain cancer. She was born on August 21, 1943 to Valentin and Anna Eleonore Klohoker in Offenbach, Germany. Meta converted to the LDS faith and forged a life-long friendship with the sister missionary that taught her the gospel. While visiting, Meta met Robert Mac Adams and fell in love with him. They married on March 21, 1970 in Fairbanks, Alaska and were later sealed in the Idaho Falls, Temple. They raised four children together until he passed away from cancer on March 17, 2009. Meta was a devoted wife, mother, sister and daughter; however, her role as a grandmother brought her the greatest joy. She doted on her grandchildren and found every excuse to treat them. Meta served faithfully in callings through out her life and gave of her time and talents without reservation. She is survived by her sister Ursala Persidskis (Maris); as well as her children, Robert H. Adams (Courtney), Lore M. Cooper (Michael), Jason L. Adams (Stephanie), and Elizabeth A. Adams (Rand); thirteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She remained dear friends with Lynn Mason (Phil) all her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 6th, 12:00 noon, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where viewings will be held Thursday, November 5th, 6-8:00 p.m. and prior to services, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
