Michael Edmund Wilkey passed away peacefully in Salt Lake City, UT surrounded by his loved ones on November 22, 2017 at the University of Utah Hospital. Wilkey was born March 7, 1958 to parents Perry Allen Wilkey (deceased) and Judith Ann Ruddin Pensacola, Florida at Naval Air Station Pensacola. At a young age Michael enjoyed and participated in many sports including football, basketball, wrestling, and tennis. In his late teens, Michael was very proud of his first car purchase, the AMC Javelin.Soon after Michael enlisted with the United States Air Force where he proudly served his county from 1977-1981, stationed at McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, CA., touring Panama and Nicaragua. In 1983, Michael relocated to Salt Lake City, UT where he met the love of his life Melly Tso, whom he would spend the last 30 years loving, caring, and supporting. Together they enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, hiking , cycling, skiing and golfing. These were the activities Michael enjoyed spending time with Melly. Michael's favorite past time was reading, science fiction, and documentaries. Though Michael and Melly were engaged to be married, that special day never came due to Michael's sudden passing. Michael was truly a pillar of support to his loving family. Wilkey is survived by his loving spouse, Imelda (Melly) Tso; his daughter Diana J. Wilkey; granddaughter Jocelyn D. Tso; mother Judith Ann Rudd; brother Perry Allen Wilkey, Jr.;nephew Perry Jared Wilkey; great-nephew Oliver William Wilkey; sister Elizabeth Lynn Smiley; niece Jessica Nicole Emery; great-nephew Harrison Philip Emery; nephew Sameron Kip Smiley; sister Katherine Patricia Wilkey; nephew Ryan Anthony Costan; niece Sydney Rae Costan; brother Matthew Mark Wilkey; niece Lacey Danielle Wilkey; great-nephew Hayden Hawkins; great-niece Alliya Hilliard; and nephew Luke Oliver Wilkey.
