Michael Willard Ruth

Michael W. Mick Ruth 1942 ~ 2013 Michael Ruth, 70, passed away May 7, 2013 in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born October 6, 1942 to Willard Americus and Erma LaVon Ruth. As a young man he proudly served his country in the US Army. He married Beverly his Lou on September 28, 2001. They spent many years together prior to 2001. He is survived by his loving sweetheart Lou , that has stayed by his side, through the good times, and the sad. He is survived by his children, and lots of loving brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Franklin D. Ruth, William Bucky Ruth, Ronald D. Emmons; sister-in-law, Mary Iva Ruth; his baby niece, Star Emmons. Our loving sweet husband, dad, grandpa, brother and friend has reunited with his family in heaven, where he is now in the arms of his loving mother. We will always remember his favorite things in life were to fish, hunt, sing, dance and spend time with family, and as we do these things, our memories of him will live on. He leaves a legacy of love. The world is a better place because he was in it. He leaves a valuable lesson with us to love without judgment, his contagious love for life, and smile leaves you with the feeling you ve been touched by an angel. We love and miss you. Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013, 2 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
