Micheal Dupree Mitchell

Micheal Dupree Mitchell of Salt Lake City passed away on September, 11, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. Micheal died in his home under the loving care of his wife Tracy around6pm. He was born June 22, 1959 to James Mitchell and Betty Mason. Micheal was the oldest of 6 children, all siblings being sisters. He learned fast how to take on the burden of responsibility helping take care of the home with his mother, This carried on to his adult life. He fought a good fight for almost three years with cancer, his family is proud of how hard he fought He married Tracy Lynn Jones on May 23, 1992 after being together foryears. He is survived by his wife, Tracy; his sons Todd, Marques, Maurice; his daughter Michaela; his 5 sisters Ernestine, Delerie, Jeannette, Yvonne, Virginia, and his mother Betty. Preceded in death by his grandparents; and father. Funeral services will be heldSaturday,September, 19, at the South Gate ward house, 2702 S Main Street, at10 a.m. Viewings will be held Friday, September 18, 6-8:00 p.m.at McDougal Funeral Home, and prior to the services, 9-9:45 a.m. at the church.Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South.
