Mikinzie Carton

Mikinzie Ann Carton was born December 9th, 1993, to Todd Willis and Sheila Carton in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is the third of five children and is fiercely loved by her family. Mikinzie passed away in the comfort of her home on September 18th, 2024

Mikinzie is survived by her loving parents, siblings: Joelle Durrant (Derek Durrant), Marcus Carton (Heather Carton), Gerolyn Ryan (Jared Ryan), Kaylee Tompkins (Reed Tompkins) Addison Barlow, and MaKall Durrant, (Nieces). Mark Leatham, Bruce Carton, Ryder Carton, Caleb Carton, Aiden Barlow, (Nephews)

Mikinzie had a deep love of all things: arts and crafts, as well as music; with a constant request for her family to sing with her. Mikinzie was always on the hunt for a new magazine with a passion that was unmatched. She was always ready for a shopping trip and a hamburger with Dr. Pepper or a motorcycle ride with dad.

Her favorite pastime was a hot bath with a fizzy bath bomb, and it was never long enough. She thoroughly loved animals or a sweet baby to snuggle. It became a loving family joke that if you wanted to hold the baby, you had to do so before Mikinzie, because once she had the baby in her arms, she never wanted to let go.

With the biggest heart, she never knew a stranger and was always ready to shake someone's hand.

 A viewing will be held Wednesday September 25, 2024, from 6:00PM-8:00PM at McDougal Funeral Home on 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. 

A second viewing will be held Thursday, September 26, 1:00-1:45 p.m. at the Taylorsville Gardens Ward building located at 4252 So. Benion Road, Taylorsville, Utah with the Funeral Service following at 2:00 p.m.

Interment: Taylorsville City Cemetery, 4567 S. Redwood Road
