Mirko Buric

Our beloved father, grandfather, husband and friend, Mirko Buric, passed away peacefully, after short illness, surrounded by his family February 1, 2019. Mirko was born on December 25, 1940 in Sanski Most, Bosnia and Herzegovina to Djuro and Sava Buric.

Mirko was known to many for his sense of humor and love of life. He was a beloved teacher to many generations in Stara Rijeka, Kozarac and Stari Majdan and Sanski Most. He came to the United States in 1997 with his family to build a better and safer future for his daughters and their families!

During his lifetime, Mirko was blessed with two wonderful daughters. He has enjoyed memorable times with all of them, and above all was able to spend many hours with the joy and light of his life; three beautiful grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Andjelka; daughters Tanja and Irena; sons-in-law, Zoran and Radisa; grandchildren Andrea, Alex, Dorian, Vlad and Andy; sisters Borka, Mira and Stojanka; and many nieces and nephews and cousins; and especially sister-in-law Zora Bilbija; and niece Kristina Straley with family!

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Taylorsville Memorial Park Cemetery, 4575 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, UT.
