Mith Seng

Mith Seng, 91, passed away Friday evening February 24, 2017 at Jordan Valley Medical Center in West Valley City, UT. Mith Seng was born May 5, 1925 in Battambang, Cambodia.She married Hor Seng in 1946 and raised their children together in Moung Russei, Cambodia. After her husband's death, she migrated to the U.S. in 1985 with her 5 children while 1 resided in France. Mith Seng dedicated her life as a Buddhist Nun and devoted her time to various Buddhist temples in the community. She lived an effervescent life and led a great example of courage and strength to her community. She blessed so many with her love and spirit. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Mith Seng is survived by her brothers Pen Chamroeun, Ith Roeut as well as her sister Sakhan Son. Mith Seng's loving family includes her children Man Seng, Meun Seng, Mon Seng, Neang Seng (Poeut Leung), Chy Seng and Rithy Seng. She is lovingly remembered by her children and grandchildren. Rose Hollow Lane, West Valley City, UT 84119, starting on Friday, February 24th. A viewing will be held at McDougal Funeral Homes located at 4330 South Redwood Rd in Taylorsville, Utah on Friday, March 3rd from 1pm to 3pm.
