Monte K Keele

October 6, 1936 — July 29, 2021

Monte K. Keele our beloved son, brother and uncle passed away in his home. 

 Monte K. Keele was born October 6, 1936, in Hinckley, Utah to Nephi Fenton Keele & Annie Elizabeth Knight Keele. He graduated from South High school in 1955. He then attended the University of Utah and was a member of the US Navy. He worked for western airlines for many years and then retired after a long career as a supervisor with the Salt Lake County Aging and Adult Services. 

Monte loved to be outdoors spending his time hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed many years of hunting elk and deer with his brother Bud and his nephew Scott and his family. He loved his Cadillacs and Cowboy boots. Monte enjoyed playing and watching sports, especially football. 

Survived by his sister Doris (David) Anderson, (sisters-in-law) Miki Keele and Barbara Keele, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters. Special thanks to Scott Keele and his family for all they have done for Monte.  

Graveside services will be held Monday, August 2nd, 2021 at 12:00 pm at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery 420 south 400 east Spanish Fork UT 84660
