Nadine Burbidge Stanley

Nadine Stanley, our loving mother, sister and aunt, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, Sunday, April 23, 2017. Born June 16, 1958, to Boyd and Carol Burbidge, in Salt Lake City, UT, where she was the oldest of 5 siblings; all girls. She was loved by many, and was able to make friends everywhere she went in life. Nadine was an amazing mother who was able to raise her daughter on her own after her husband's unexpected death in 2002. She struggled through various hardships, and was able to persevere. Nadine had a great love and interest in books, movies, butterflies, and binge watching shows with her daughter. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her daughter, Alisha Abbott; step-daughter, Michelle Stanley ; son-in-law, Dalton; her sisters, Sharon (Don) Maxwell, Judi (Cory) Wade, Cathy (David) Howell and Kelly (Jack) Barlow; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Kerry Lee Stanley; and her parents, Boyd and Carol Burbidge. A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2017, 10-12:00 noon, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Salt Lake City, Utah. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Salt Lake City Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest right alongside her loving husband.
