West Valley City, Utah - Nancy Ann Jordan, age 89, left her earthly journey, October 29, 2022, at her home to be with our Lord and Savior. Born April 19, 1933, to James and Violet Hansen in Tooele, Utah. She was the third of five children.
Nancy married the love of her life, Phillip Kay Jordan, on August 7, 1948. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. As a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served many callings, including Relief Society President and a mission along with her husband at the Humanitarian Center.
During the start of her marriage, she and her husband owned and worked a restaurant in Manhattan Beach, California and later she worked at Clarks Cafeteria and the Oaken Bucket. She finished her working career in Real Estate.
No words can express how much she was loved and will be missed.
She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Phillip Kay Jordan; brothers Mel Hansen and Johnny Hansen; daughters Lana (Dave) Gray; Terri (Bob Andersen) Jordan; sons, David (Donnie) Jordan and Tim Jordan; 17 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her sister Nola Stever; brother Sam Hansen; son, Mark Jordan; and daughter Jackie Bradshaw.
A funeral service will be held Monday, November 7, 2022, 12:00 p.m. with a viewing prior from 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
