Naomi Bylund Wilkey Sessions August 29, 1928 - December 19, 2014 Naomi Bylund Wilkey Sessions, 86, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on December 19, 2014 at the home of her son John in West Jordan, Utah. Born August 29, 1928 in Santaquin, Utah. She was the sixth of eight children born to Henry Alonzo Bylund and Jennie Matilda Larsen Bylund. Naomi grew up in Santaquin, graduating from Payson High School. She married Kenneth ("Bob") Richard Wilkey on March 24, 1948 in the Manti Temple. She lived in West Valley City (Granger) for 50 years where she raised a family of eight. Active member of the LDS Church, serving in numerous callings. She worked hard in part time positions to help support her children on their missions. She loved "her Cougars". She always grew a garden that fed not only her family, but many friends and neighbors, too. Most of all, she loved being at home with her family. After Bob's death in 1982, she met and married the second great man in her life, Chester Sessions. Together, they would serve several missions. Even when Alzheimer's disease robbed her of mind and memories, she maintained a cheerful, gracious attitude and always had a quick or funny remark for most occasions. She kept her family laughing to the end. Naomi is survived by her husband, Chester Sessions, and all 8 of her children: Curtis (Donna), Janice (Bonner Warr), Richard (Cindy), Duane (Cindy), Kent (Stephanie), Pauline (Kevin Bench), Kathleen, and John (Jodi), and 30 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Carol Jean (CH) Shepherd. Many thanks to the Sessions Family, who gave love and support to our mother and Chet, especially Karen & Lavar. We find comfort in knowing Mom is home for Christmas. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 27 at 11:00 am in the Granger West 4th Ward, 3305 So. 3960 W., West Valley City. Viewings will be held Friday, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 am. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
