The sound of angels filled the heavens on the return of our beloved Natalie on October 31, 2018 at the age of 36. She fought a long hard battle with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy but endured it all with her infectious smile and spunky spirit. She was born on April 17, 1982 to loving parents, Scott Powell and Maureen O'Toole. She was not expected to live past twelve, but she proved everyone wrong. She graduated from Wasatch High School in 2001 and loved working at Eaton's Alliance for the past five years. Her favorite pastimes were camping, swimming, SHOPPING, movies, and fishing with her parents, Dan, and her second mom Joslyn. She cheered for the UTES, the JAZZ, and her hero Michael Jordan. She loved to go to Wendover with her parents where everyone there greeted her by name, especially Judy at Keno. She would brighten the room with her smile wearing one of her favorite colors of black, red, or purple. The family wishes to thank all of her wonderful healthcare providers that gave her such support and kindness throughout her life. A special thank you to her care takers Joslyn de Jonckheere, Morgan, Matthew, and Mike-she loved you all so much. She is survived by her parents, Scott Powell, Maureen O'Toole, and the best big brother a sister could have, Dan Powell. Her extended family of Karen & Doug, Nancy & Lauri, Gayle & Mike (deceased), her niece Charlee, and her beloved cat Bouie. She has numerous cousins and friends that will miss her as well. She will never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers please donate to the University of Utah Hospital https://healthcare.utah.edu/foundation/give.php or to your favorite animal rescue shelter. An Open House to celebrate Natalie will be held on November 10th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at 1643 East 3350 South in Salt Lake City (her Aunt Karen's house).
