Nathan Bailey

Nathan Lloyd Bailey passed away on November 22nd, 2023 in West Valley City, Utah at the age of 57. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harold and Dorine Bailey. He graduated from Granger High School in 1985. Nate was employed with Build Inc., for the majority of his career. He ended up as a crane operator with them. He was very proud of this accomplishment.

Nate married Sherry in 1991. From their union, he was blessed with the pride and joys of his life, children, Tyson and Nikelle. Nate and Sherry later divorced, remaining good friends. He was charismatic, kind, loving, generous, and a friend to all. He was the biggest and most loyal Utah Utes and Denver Broncos fan. (As evidenced by his entire wardrobe and house decor!) He loved riding his four-wheeler and was an avid cruiser with family.

Nathan is survived by his son Tyson Bailey, daughter Nikelle Bailey, mother of his children Sherry Bailey, sister Chris (Jayson) Chatelain, and mother Dorine Bailey. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Bailey.

Nate will be missed by many people and never forgotten. Love you, dad.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 4th, 2023 from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM. at McDougal Funeral Home Chapel on 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah 84123.
