Neal Jacobsen Hillyard, Jr.

Neal Hillyard Jr. 1920 ~ 2011 Neal Jacobsen Hillyard Jr died in a peaceful moment surrounded by his loving family September 14, 2011 at the age of 91. Born August 17, 1920 in Hyde Park, Utah to Neal Sr. and Lucile Hillyard. Neal was the oldest of four children and was raised in Richmond, Utah. Neal married his high school sweetheart, Nona Payne, July 29, 1942 in the Logan Temple. Together they served in the Hartford Connecticut Mission. After 50 years of marriage Nona passed away December 26, 1992. Neal met and married Donna Rae Beckstead February 16, 1996 in Taylorsville, Utah. He was a Pharmacist at Walgreens for 35 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was honorably discharged December 25, 1945. Survived by his wife; 5 children: Beverly (Ken) Lyon, Neal Clair, Marvin, Kathy (Roy) Daniel and Debra (Kevin) Sato; step-sons, Gary (Arlene), Glen (Sandi) and Steven (Sandy) Beckstead ; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville 3rd Ward, 1457 W. Atherton (4310 South). Viewings will be held Sunday, 6 - 8 pm at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Monday at the church, 10 - 10:45 a.m.. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park Occupation:Pharmacist
