Neil Andrew Lythall passed away on 10 January 2024. He was born 2 August 1963 in Sydney Australia to Robert Charles Lythall and Olive Rose Marshall. He went to a trade school to be a truck mechanic. He drove truck and hauled all over Australia. He worked and sailed on a replica of the 18th century sailing ship "The Bounty" for 3 years. He came to the US and spent time working and playing on sprint cars. He also enjoyed socializing and making friends wherever he went. He regularly went on "walkabout". He went back to Australia where he became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He married Kaylin Cloward in the Salt Lake Temple on 30 April 1994. Together they have 3 boys and now 3 granddaughters that he completely adored. He worked very hard to provide for his family. He has driven truck for practically his whole life. He loved racing and spent many hours at the track. He was avid in his knowledge of old trucks. He also enjoyed attending car and truck shows. He has touched the lives of so many by his generous nature. He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby. He is survived by his mother, Olive; sisters Robyn (Jeff) Tumeth and Jennifer (Paul) De Rosa; wife, Kaylin; sons Steven (Kori), Peter (Keziah), and James; granddaughters Lucy, Emma, and Evelyn.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 20 January 2024 at 2666 West 7000 South, West Jordan, Utah at 1:00 pm. Following the service, there will be a celebration of life open house until 4 pm at the same location.
