Nephi LeRoy Jensen 1926 ~ 2012 Our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Nephi L. Jensen, age 85, of Sandy, Utah, passed away May 20, 2012 in Sandy. He was born July 27, 1926 in Huntington, Utah, to Julius M. and Irene Foote Jensen, the eighth of ten children. Married Vonda Finn in the Idaho Falls Temple. Spent 41 years together. She preceded him in death. Member of the LDS Church. Loved being a stake missionary. Served in the US Army in World War II and the Korean War. He is survived by his 4 children: Lynn (Marilyn), LuAnn (Brian) Nielsen, LeRoy and Linda Jo; sister, Bertha Jones, brother-in-law, Dono Finn. Family expresses appreciation to Dr. Philip Kithas with the VA Hospital. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 24, 2012, 12:00 noon at the LDS Church at 1280 East Turquoise Lane. Viewings will be Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday at the church, 11-11:40 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
