Nicki Richard Howells "Soaring and Seeing the World" Nicki Richard Howells, 74, passed away Nov. 17, 2013 surrounded by the loved ones that meant the most to him. He was born May 26, 1939 in Sugar City, Idaho to John and Isadora Thompson Howells. He married the love of his life, Jean Ann Redmond, June 15,1957. Dad loved spending time with his family, a game of blackjack, and a good debate. Listening to classic country, the History Channel and his judge shows were also favorite past times. He had a heart of gold, gave many the shirt off his back, and the last penny in his pocket. Owner of Nicki's Kitchen for 27 years. He was survived by wife Jean; daughters Vicki Roeling, Tammy Crosby, K-Linn (Tod) Oldroyd; 6 grandkids; 3 great-grandkids; and 5 siblings. He is preceded in death by 1 grandson; 2 sons-in-law; and 4 siblings. We would like to thank the staff at Pioneer Valley Hospital for the many years of compassion. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where viewings will be held Friday, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
