Norma Dahl

November 2, 1932 — July 30, 2024

Norma Pearson Snyder Dahl, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on July 30, 2024. She was our mother, grandmother, great- and great-great- grandmother, and our friend.

Mom loved to be with her family, including her step-children and their families. Her favorite role was a mother and grandmother. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved taking them on special trips.

Mom loved cooking for her family. Our favorite things were her homemade rolls and pies. She had a passion for making beautiful baby quilts for her family and in later years for Primary Children's Hospital. She made over 50 beautiful quilts. All the great- and great-great-grandchildren love their quilts and cannot wait to use them for their future offsprings.

We could not have asked for a more loving mother, grandmother, and friend, and we will miss her every day.

She was born November 2, 1932 to Reynold and Cordelia Stocks Pearson and raised in Lewiston, Utah. She later married Owen J. Snyder on June 22, 1950. He passed away on June 5, 1984. She then married Boyd J. Dahl on July 1, 1988. He passed away on April 5, 2017.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Everett Pearson, her son Reed Snyder, a daughter-in-law Michelle Synder, Step-sons; Randy and Craig Dahl, and a step-granddaughter Stephanie Smith.

Norma is survived by her sister Dorothy Waddoups, brother Frank (Janet) Pearson, her children; Gayle (Paula) Snyder, Marilyn (Kerry) Huntington, Garth Snyder, Pamela Clark, daughter-in-law Bobby Snyder, stepchildren; Leslie Dahl, Sherrie Dahl, and Debbie (Ron) Taylor. Also 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
