My name is Norma Ruth Jorgenson Jarvis. If you are reading this, then you know my earthly adventure is over and that I am now with my Heavenly Father. I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December of 2016. I was 85 years old at the time. I lived a long life but would have liked to have still been here a while longer. I am sad to leave my dear husband, Jack, and all my children and their families. I have 5 daughters. Lynda Palmer, Julie Jenkins (Al), Shauna Kersh (Butch), Jacki Parrish (Louis), and Connie Ranck (Brian)..17 grandchildren, and my 14 great grandchildren. I have been blessed to have had a great relationship with them all. I was the 5th child born to Jennie and Osborne Jorgenson, who were both born in Norway and therefore my childhood days were spent growing up with all of those fine Norwegian friends of my parents. I was always proud of this heritage. I thank everyone for my care, especially grateful for Jack, whom I was married to in the Salt Lake Temple 64 years ago. We had a wonderful, loving life together, and we were blessed with such loving children. I would like to mention the two "Ruth's" in my life. We shared lives together and we have been the dearest of friends. You who knew me know that music was such a big part of my lifemy whole life. I've loved seeing that in my children and grandchildren also. For 55 years I was the chorister which was my passion. I've loved choosing music to fit all occasions. I was given the gift to always keep a song in my heartI hope my family will remember to do the same. You all know how much I love you. Belonging to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been my life and my guidance. Through this knowledge, I say goodbye for now but I look forward to being with you all again someday. *** Norma was loved by all and with her charming personality, she was everyone's best friend. Norma's family would like to give a special thanks to all of her wonderful doctors and nurses. Especially Josie, her hospice nurse who cared for her until the end.
