Oleta Taber

Oleta Taber August 18, 1931 ~ October 18, 2012 Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend returned to her heavenly father on October 18, 2012 . Oleta will be welcomed by her beloved husband Art and her daughter Linda Sue (Taber) Regis. She will be missed by her son David, daughter Sally her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. Oleta will be remembered by many in her community. She spent her early years touching the lives of children as a teacher and many families that were part of the Missionary Baptist churches her husband pastored. She moved to West Jordan in 2007 to the community of Vista Montana where she met her dear friend Fran. Oleta was an avid reader. She enjoyed the West Jordan Senior Center and the wonderful people she meet during her time here. She continued to be involved in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special open house remembrance will be held at her home on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Services will be held in Lompoc, California on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Oleta will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Art in Lompoc California.
