Otto Martin Pinnau

Otto Martin Pinnau passed away on April 5, 2015, while surrounded by his family. Otto was born on July 17, 1934, in Elchtal, Germany to Fritz Wilhelm Pinnau and LouisePetereit.As a young man, Otto served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Schwabach,Germany. There he met and married his sweetheart, Waltraud Schicker, on November28, 1959.After moving to the United States in 1960, Otto worked tirelessly to build a good life forhis wife and children, Mark and Tanja. He worked for many years as a skilledcabinetmaker and was distinguished among his peers for his fine craftsmanship.Otto loved spending time with his family and found great joy in their accomplishments.He was loved a great deal by his family, including four grandchildren, who affectionatelycalled him Opa and enjoyed making many special memories with him.Otto was loved by many and will be remembered for his great sense of humor and loveof animals, travel, sports, and beer. Otto will be missed greatly by his wife: Trudy; children: Mark (Tammy) and Tanja;grandchildren: Nicholas (Leslie), Zachary (Jacque), Amy, and Josh; sisters: Heidi, Lydia,and brother: Siegfried (Ericka); as well as a many nieces and nephews.
