Pamela Jean Stimac Mohn, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and loved one, passed away peacefully at her home in Taylorsville, Utah on Saturday, December 18th 2015 surrounded by her family. Born to Carl Stimac and Bertha Colarchik Stimac on March 5th, 1947 in Great Falls Montana, oldest of three daughters. Pam attended Our Lady of Lourdes parochial school, East Junior high school, and graduated from Great Falls high school class of '65 in Great Falls, Montana. Pam married Hillis O. Mohn on March 13, 1972 in Coeur d'Alene Idaho. They were blessed with two children. She was a wonderful wife and mother and always sacrificed her time and talents in the care of her family and friends. Her spunk and character brought a light to life that cannot be duplicated. She cherished her family and friends and was so grateful for the special bond that she had with each of them in their own unique way. She enjoyed Garden Club, and driving around the Salt Lake valley giving tours to her family and friends. Later in life she enjoyed spending time with her friends, especially on Girls Night Out and also participating in the Red Hat society. She was blessed with her sweetie and beau Terry Moorehouse who brought her joy and love along with many new experiences such as camping, fishing, NASCAR and football. They loved watching old Westerns and working on puzzles. She has been joyfully reunited with family and friends who she has so dearly missed. She will truly be a loss to all who knew her. She is survived by daughter Desmi (Joe) Myers, Portland, Oregon/Great Falls, Montana; and son Christopher (Beth) Mohn, Fort Worth, Texas; two granddaughters Samantha and Kimberly Mohn; sisters Trudy and Judy Stimac; and her beau Terry Moorehouse. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. The family would like to thank the Utah Cancer Center, Dr. Xylina Gregg, Dr. Jeffery Lee, and their staff for the excellent and loving care. Thanks also goes to the physicians, nurses and care givers at Intermountain Health Care (Murray Campus) and the Rocky Mountain Hospice for their kindness and sensitivity for her end of life care. A private memorial service will be held in the future in Glacier National Park, Montana, where mom and dad will be laid to rest at a place special to them.
