Pamela Dee Kerby
March 24, 1955 - November 13, 2023
Pamela Dee Kerby left this earth peacefully on November 13, 2023 after living a life filled with selfless love and service to those closest around her. Pam grew up in Salt Lake City with her two older brothers where they were raised by their loving parents Darald and Verna Robinson. She loved spending time up in Downey, Idaho at her grandmother's house. She spent time riding horses, playing at Downata Hot Springs, and playing with her cousins. In high school she enjoyed participating in the pep club at Granger High School and working at Scotts. After high school she worked for Granite School District as a resource aide at Lakeridge Elementary and a secretary at Taylorsville High School. She also worked for the Utah State Health Department for several years.
Pam always knew how to make others feel loved. She cared deeply about making sure everyone's needs were met more than her own. She met the love of her life in her late teenage years. They enjoyed 48 years of marriage. They were sealed for time and all eternity at the Salt Lake Temple. They were best friends and loved doing everything together. One of her most treasured experiences was raising her son Brandon. She was a wonderful, devoted mother who taught her son many wonderful things. Pam had a love for family history and attended the temple often. Her faith in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was an essential part of her life. She poured countless hours into primary lessons. She loved serving the children in her ward.
Pam was a remarkable Grandmother to her five granddaughters that were more precious to her than anything. The love she showed them will continue to help them throughout their lives. The time she spent with them was always filled with patience and kindness and treats. Pam loved to crochet beautiful blankets for others, spending hours making them while watching her favorite old TV shows. What we will most remember about Pam was the love she had for the Savior. We will wait patiently to be reunited with our amazing Mother, Grandmother, Wife, and Friend.
She is survived by her spouse Rick Kerby, her son Brandon Buck Kerby (Carly), her 5 grandchildren: Brenna, Sofia, Samantha, Matilda and Georgia, and her two brothers Randy (Vicky) Robinson, and Rod (Connie) Robinson.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father.
