Pamela Rae Harris Averett

Pam came into this world on November 15, 1941 in New Orleans, LA to Verle Harris and Georgia Leona Houghton Harris. She was able to travel the world prior to settling down and marrying H. Grant Averett in May 1962, in the Manti Temple. They had three children: Bruce T. Averett (Marcia), Jeffrey G Averett, Jessica Newman (Ron). She has 8 grandchildren, Brigitte Tukuafu (Eleveni), Kade Behnke (Julia), Franco Caceras, Denis Caceras (Elias), Yasmine Caseras, Stone Averett, Chloe Averett, Regan Averett and 7 great-grandchildren (Zoe, Loki, Chad, Alize, Kaleb, Abigail, Talon). Pam loved crafts and baking along with her passion for genealogy and Necco's. She struggled with her health for many years but you could always count on a smile and positive comments from her. We know she is flying kites in Heaven. A viewing will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd, Salt Lake City, UT 84123.
