Pamela Rae Larsen

Pamela Rae Larsen, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 27, 2015. Born to Manasseh Ruel Rasmussen and Gloria Mae Condie Rasmussen on November 27, 1946 in Murray, Utah. Pam attended elementary, junior high, and high school in Granger, Utah and graduated from Granger High School. Following graduation, Pam married Steven Bowles and together they had one daughter, Wendy. Pam later married Carl J. Larsen on December 26, 1968 in Granger, Utah. Pam and Carl lived most of their married life in Magna, Utah. As a youth, Pam was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she lived her entire life providing service to others as taught by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pam enjoyed social gatherings with her friends and family. Pam worked for several years at Deseret Industries and later worked for the Granite School District as a janitor, retiring in 2008 after 21 years of service. Pam is survived by her husband, Carl Larsen, Magna, UT; daughter, Wendy (Wade) Lohmeyer, West Valley City, UT; one granddaughter, Mrissa; and one grandson, Hudson; mother, Gloria Rasmussen, Magna, UT; brother, Richard (VaLeen) Rasmussen, Tremonton, UT, brother, Galen (DiAnn) Rasmussen, Syracuse, UT. Pam was preceded in death by her father, Manasseh Ruel Rasmussen. Pam loved the Larsen family as much as her own family and will be missed by them all. Finally, thanks is expressed to the many neighbors, friends and loved ones who rendered service to the family. Pam will be loved and missed until we meet again in the eternities. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 2, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where viewings will be Thursday, October 1, 6-8:00 p.m. and Friday prior to the service, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
