Pamela Raelynn Kinder Templin

July 10, 1954 — February 3, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela Raelynn Kinder Templin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, on February 3, 2025, at the age of 70. Pam was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 10, 1954, to Alma and Katherine Kinder. She was the fifth of seven children: Larry (Lorraine) Kinder, Alma Kinder, Ronnie ( Vickie) Kinder, Karen (Rodney) Park, Kathy (Mark) Maxfield, and Kevin Kinder.

Pam is preceded in death by: her parents Alma and Katherine, brothers Alma and Ronnie, grandson Blayd Templin, sister Kathy (Tiny), and brother-in-law Rodney Park.

Pam met the love of her life, James Templin, in January 1971 at the Ritz Classic Bowling Alley after getting her car stuck in the ice. After becoming her lifelong hero that night, they married eight months later on August 14, 1971. Together, they raised three children: James (Amie) Templin, Justin Templin, and Jeff (Nikki) Templin. She was also the proud grandmother of Alex (Kenzi) Templin, Rilee Templin, Braxton Templin, Destinie (Jeff) Taylor, Chase Olsen, and Emma Templin.

Pam graduated from high school in 1972, and her career journey included roles at Grand Central Toy Department, managing Pizza Hut in Mountain View, Wyoming, serving as a front-end supervisor at Shopko, and retiring from Home Depot as an expediter. Over the years, she made many lifelong friends through her work, known for her social nature and ability to welcome anyone into her life.

Pam was a truly creative spirit, with a love for crafting, scrapbooking, and spending time with family. She cherished traveling, especially to places like Cody, Wyoming, Las Vegas, Sea World, and Yellowstone, where she enjoyed watching wildlife. She and Jim loved to go on road trips to explore old ghost towns and mines.

In 1980, Pam and Jim moved to Mountain View, Wyoming where they became a central part of many nieces' and nephews' childhoods. Pam's home was a haven for weekends and summers filled with laughter and lasting memories. She was known for her wit, humor, and the trademark phrase "sons-a-bitches." Pam also took her Halloween costumes very seriously, earning a reputation as everyone's favorite witch.

Above all, Pam was a sweet, caring, and loving person who valued her family deeply. She found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren, and her pride in them was evident to all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and lasting memories.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, February 8,2025, 5pm-7pm at:
