Patricia Annette Taylor Adams, age 79, of West Jordan, Utah peacefully left this mortal life and began the next step in her eternal existence on October 9, 2022.
Annette was born November 7, 1942 in Glendale, California, daughter of Ivan Clarence Taylor and Genevieve Farr Taylor. She was the oldest of seven children and spent her childhood in Ogden, Utah. She had a love of the gospel from an early age and chose to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was called to serve in Switzerland where she developed a love of the Swiss people and culture, which she shared with her family. She was married for time and all eternity to Nolan Douglas Adams on December 17, 1971 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Annette loved music and particularly enjoyed playing the piano from a very early age. As an active member of The Church of Jesus of Latter-Day Saints, Annette enjoyed using her talent to bless the lives of those around her by filling the roles of Primary Pianist, Relief Society Pianist and Ward Choir Pianist during multiple occasions in her life. Later in life, Annette expanded her skill for playing the piano into a talent for playing the organ. This new found gift allowed for further opportunities to serve as the Ward Organist for weekly worship services.
Annette was happy being at home and being a central figure in the lives of her husband and children. She enjoyed cooking, playing the piano, watching mystery shows, playing games and sewing. She was always working on a project that was often displayed around the home. Annette lived her testimony of Jesus Christ through her daily acts of service, caring for her children and supporting her husband Nolan in his many Church callings.
Annette is preceded in death by Nolan (husband); Ivan (father); Genevieve (mother); Julie (sister); and Tom (brother).
She is survived by Roger (son) & Natalie, Richard (son) & Heather, Andrew (son); & Taihiese, Elizabeth (daughter); Jim (brother) & Delpha, Ivan Jr (brother); & Laurie, Cathy (sister) & Paul, Barbara (sister) & John; and 10 grandchildren.
The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the nurses and caregivers at Carrington Court Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility who showed such love and patience in caring for Annette.
