Patricia Anne Austin 81, loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friendpassed away comfortably on the early morning of January 7, 2018. Born March 27, 1936 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Lester Alton James and Bonnie Lee Henderson.Graduated from Granite high school in 1954. Married Kenneth James Austin, high schoolsweetheart and love of her life, on June 15, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Together they purchasedtheir home in Hunter, Utah in 1959 where she raised their two boys, Glen J. and Gary L. andshe lived for 58 years. Baptized in the LDS church on December 16, 1971. Patricia's greatest joy in life was being a wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother and aunt. Shedevoted her time to cub scouts, church, PTA, little league and family events with her boys. Sheloved spending weekends with her grandsons and nieces. Patricia was a private person whoenjoyed spending time at home drawing, crafting, gardening and working on genealogy. Sheworked at Hercules for over 20 years until she retired in 1997. Patricia is survived by 2 sons, Glen J. and Gary L.; 2 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren, 4great-grandchildren; siblings, Sister Jan Ross of Utah, and step-brother Gregory James ofCalifornia; 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 13th, 1:00 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Road, where viewings will be held Friday, Jan. 12th, 6-8:00 p.m. and again prior to services on Saturday from 12-12:45 p.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Park.
