Patricia Eldredge

Patricia Marie Geertsen Eldredge, aged 87, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2024, while in hospice care at Spring Gardens in Heber City, Utah.

She was born December 7, 1936, in Ogden, Utah to John Wendell and Marie Iva (Beus) Geertsen. She grew up in San Francisco, California and graduated valedictorian of Balboa High School.

She married George Leon Eldredge, Jr. in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on May 6, 1954.

Her passions were the gospel of Jesus Christ, her spouse, her children and service to the Lord. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all her heart and was proud to be a busy and efficient stay at home mom. She was yearning to be reunited with her eternal sweetheart.

She highly valued and held sacred her many years of service in many different callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints along with her 5 years of service as a temple worker in the Jordan River Temple.

She was a loving, kind and devoted mother to 4 children, grandmother to 16, great grandmother to 14 and was soon to be great-great grandmother.

She is survived by her brother, John Ralph Geertsen, Jr. (Vonda) of Pleasant Grove, Utah, her children Suzanne Marie Eldredge Milligan of Springville, Utah, Laurie Jean Eldredge Fitzgerald (York) of Midway, Utah, David George Eldredge (Jennifer) of South Jordan, Utah and Steven John Eldredge (Stephanie) of Draper, Utah.

Public Gathering for Ward friends and neighbors will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024,11:00-12:00 noon, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd, Taylorsville, UT 84123. No formal funeral services will be held at her request.

Burial will immediately follow at the Midway City Cemetery, 1:30 p.m. at 600 W 500 S Midway, UT.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to the Church of Jesus Christ missionary fund.
