In Loving Memory

Patricia (Trish) King, 75, passed away on June 18, 2024, at the IMC hospital in Murray, Utah with her loving husband by her side.

Trish was born on October 24, 1948, in Saginaw, Michigan to Wesley and Alice Melcher.

Trish graduated from Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw in 1966. After high school she married her first husband and had two kids. She traveled around to several upper mid-western states working odd jobs to make ends meet. Trish and her daughter moved to Utah in 1986 to be close to her twin sister. She met the love of her life, Geoffrey King, and they were married on August 5, 1989, in the backyard of their home in what is now Taylorsville, Utah.

Trish worked in the insurance industry where she earned her insurance license and specialized in providing general aviation insurance until retiring in 2018.

Trish's favorite thing to do was vacationing with her husband, seeing new places and enjoying new adventures. Her other favorite was her dog, Gizmo, who I pray she reunited with and that they crossed that Rainbow Bridge together.

Patricia is survived by her husband Geoffrey (Jeff) King, siblings Nancy Melcher, Mark Melcher, Luann Kuehn, and Rebecca (Becky) Melcher, children Wendy Wallace, and Matthew Wallace.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents.

Trish requested to be cremated with no service.
