Patricia Leech Stewart

Patricia Leech Stewart I ll Be Here Pat passed away surround by her family February 17, 2013 due to complications of COPD. She has returned to the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus. She was born in Milford, Utah to Charles and Helen Ruth Leech. Pat was President of her graduating class. She married Robert F. Stewart; later divorced. They moved the family to SLC in 1957. She had a great career working for Kennecott Copper for 30 years. After her retirement, she was a volunteer at St. Marks Hospital for many years. She made many wonderful friends during these times in her life. Her family was the most important part of her life. She loved to plan great holiday parties and other outings. She was always ready to listen and support all of us who loved her. Her beautiful smile and loving spirit added to all our lives. She will be missed greatly by all her family and friends. She was a devoted mother to 5 children. She is survived by children: Elaine Jensen, Bob Stewart (Monique) Doug Stewart (Jeanne). She was preceded in death by daughter Tamara Banks, son Rick Stewart and her brother Ward Leech. Pat adored her 8 grandchildren and 7 great grand children. Her greatest joy was being able to be part of their lives. She loved them so very much. A celebration of her life will be held at the McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 6:30 - 8PM.
