Patricia Lorrine Schott Davidson 7 Feb 1923 - 19 Apr 2012 Patricia Lorrine Schott Davidson was born in Novinger, Missouri to Glenn Merritt and Fleta May Schamel Schott. She and her parents joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 24 Mar 1940 in Kirksville, Missouri. They came to Utah in August 1941 to be sealed in the Salt Lake Temple and for Mom to attend nurses training at the LDS Hospital. She married Jesse William Davidson on 6 Jan 1945 in Carlsbad, New Mexico where he was in bombardier training. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on 24 Apr 1945. They lived in Salt Lake City from 1946 to 1957 when they moved to Kearns. Mom worked as a labor and delivery nurse at three area hospitals. She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holding numerous positions including Relief Society pianist until the age of 87. She had a strong testimony of her Savior Jesus Christ. Patricia is survived by her husband, Jesse; their 5 children: Lorine (Blain) Taylor, Kearns; Laura (Phil) McNeal, Holladay; Beckie (Kees) Versteeg, Toledo, OR; Beth (Dale) Cutler, Ennis, TX; and Woody Davidson, River Falls, WI; 27 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren, with 2 more on the way. We would like to thank the wonderful Haven Hospice staff who cared for Patricia the past few months. A viewing will be held Friday, Apr 27, 2012, 6-8 pm at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Road. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Apr 28, 2012 , 11 am at the Kearns 14th Ward, 5010 South 4180 West, Kearns, UT where there will be a viewing, 10-10:45 am prior to services.
