Patricia Marie (Cook) Nipper was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on July 17, 2022, at the age of 66.
Pat was born to William and Barbara Cook on July 4, 1956, in Wallace, Idaho. Her family moved to Utah when she was still an infant and she lived there for the rest of her life. Pat is the mother of William (Amber) Baxter, DeeAnna (Kat) Baxter-Stone, Shellie (Cori) Lennox Nipper, and Amy (Daniel) Sebastian. She is the stepmother to Dale Nipper, Sherry Bailey, Diane DeVaughn, and Danny Nipper. Pat is a sister to Laura (Charlie) Christensen, Bill (Charlotte) Cook, and Roy (Shelia) Cook. Pat had 27 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, with two more on the way. She is the sister-in-law to Barbra (Chuck) Caster, Evelyn Smith, June Workman, and Linda (Ronald) Caster.
Pat was preceded in death by her father, her mother, her brother, her stepson, and three sisters-in-law. They welcomed her with open arms.
In April of 1984 Pat married the love of her life, her soul mate, and eternal companion Gail Nipper. The love they had for each other was deep and they were so in love. They had a connection that others could see and feel. They cared for each other over the years, giving so much of themselves to each other and their relationship.
Pat's family was her reason for living. They brought her so much joy and happiness. She loved everyone equally and with her whole heart. Her favorite times were the family gatherings where everyone would be together; whether it was celebrating a birthday, Christmas, Thanksgiving, or annual family reunions. Her and dad's home was open to everyone to come over to celebrate life achievements, or just for a cup of coffee to sit and talk.
Pat found peace and faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. She loved the church, the teachings, and the amazing people who shared in her beliefs. She received callings in the church and was able to go to the temple. Mom would read her scriptures every day and prayed often. She was very devoted and worked hard to become the person that Heavenly Father wanted.
Pat worked in the retail industry for most of her life. She loved people and would be found chatting with customers and co-workers on a regular basis. She developed a family through Home Depot and Holiday Oil and daily connections with her customers. Mom worked hard and received several recognition awards. Pat touched so many lives and will be truly missed by so many.
