Patsy Eunice Gallagher

Patsy Eunice Butcher Gallagher returned to Heavenly Father and friends peacefully May 21, 2021. Patsy was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, who touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. She was born on March 5, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah to loving parents Bert and Rose Butcher, the sixth of seven children.

Her smile and love of life gave her the strength to keep moving forward, always believing that tomorrow will be better than today. Patsy was an accomplished businesswoman and found tremendous success through perseverance and unshakable work ethic. The children she provided day care for and the employees at the shop all benefitted from her love and wisdom. Patsy always took great effort to remember special occasions in her family’s lives.

Preceded in death by her husband Floyd Gallagher; mother and father; and grandson Shane.

She is survived by children Linda (Steve) Zaelit, Floyd (DeeAnn) Gallagher Jr., Jodie (Robert) Willomitzer, Debra (Greg) Huffman, Michelle Barela, Timothy Gallagher; 16 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister Judy (Pete) Gallagher.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 27, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. A viewing will be held Wednesday, May 26^th, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah.
