Paul Henry Robertson Paul Henry Robertson, forth son of Grant Martel Robertson Sr. and Edith Last Williams and beloved husband of Karma Jean Memmott, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2013, in his home in Tooele, Utah, surrounded by the love of his family. Paul was born August 20, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended school in Salt Lake City and Rock Springs, Wyoming. Returning to Salt Lake City, Paul graduated from East High School and is listed with two graduating classes: 1948 and 1949. Paul was one of nineteen young men, mentored by Scout Master, Al Janke, who receive the rank of Eagle Scout in a single Eagle Court of Honor, in the Edge Hill Ward, Sugar House Stake. Paul enlisted in the Army, May 1948. He served in the Signal Corp and was stationed in Korea, after which he received an Honorable discharge in April of 1952. Paul married the love of his life, February 29, 1952, in the Salt Lake City Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Paul was a proud, lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Paul has been equally proud of each of his progenitors who have chosen to serve this great nation. Paul, also, valued his heritage and was a member of the Sons of the Utah Pioneers. Paul was an active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many calling including faithful Home Teacher, even when he could no longer be the one visiting. Paul is survived by his brother: Allen Keith, wife: Karma Jean Memmott, children: Rory Paul (Lydia), Heidi (Gregory), Brett David (Jacqualyon), Kathy Lynn (Frank), Martin William (La Laine), Kenneth Scott (Carol), Daniel Ray (Kimberly), 23 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, at last count. Paul was proceeded in death by his daughters: Cindy Lee and Darla Dawn, parents: Edith Last Williams and Grant Martell Sr., brothers: Jay Reese, John Williams, and Grant Martell Jr. Viewing will be held Monday, September 30, 2013, Tooele 29th Ward building 583 North 270 East, Tooele, Utah, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Service to begin at 11:30 AM. Internment in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank the Huntsman Cancer Center and their many caring doctors, nurses and support staff, who have served Paul and Karma in their various battles with cancers, for so many years. We, also, thank Harmony Hospice of Tooele, with a special thank you to Heather, Paul's nurse.
