Paul Strasburg Woolston

Paul S. Woolston 1925 ~ 2011 Paul Strasburg Woolston died June 20, 2011, at home, surrounded by family members. He was born May 5, 1925 in Lehi, Utah, son of Joseph Frederick and Ruby Strasburg Woolston. Paul was raised in Provo, graduated from Provo High School in 1943 and immediately enlisted in the US Army. After basic training, because of his knowledge of several instruments and ability to play them, became a part of the US Army Band. He served in North Africa and Italy and upon his release started his college education at BYU, playing in the BYU orchestra where he met his first wife, Vera Heath.
