Pauletta Rena Worthen, 56 went home to her Heavenly father on July 14, 2022. She was born in Tuba City, Arizona to Ruth and Paul Tso on April 27, 1966. As Pauletta was growing up in Tuba City, she participated in volleyball, track, and softball. She passed her love for sports, music, and the outdoors to her children and grandchildren.
After moving to West Valley City, Utah, Pauletta met her best friend and the love of her life - Troy Worthen. They later married on July 7, 2001. Pauletta had the most amazing smile and most contagious laugh, she was also the kindest and most loving person, always putting everyone before herself. Pauletta enjoyed going for hikes and watching her daughters and grandkids play softball, basketball, baseball, and football. "The kids and grandkiddos" were the light of her life.
Pauletta is preceded in death by her dear brother Daryl Tso.
Pauletta is survived by her husband Troy Worthen; her wonderful daughters Danette Butler (Sanjin Hadzialijagic) – Danelle Butler (RonDog Krummi, Husband) – Stephanie Butler (Zachariah Walker, Husband) – Saphina Tuft (Tyler Tuft, Husband); her brothers Nathaniel Tso (Marlis Tso, Wife) – Manual Tso – Randall “Butch” Tso; grandkids Ajla “Schmila” Hadzialijagic – Alen “Shweetie” Hadzialijagic – Brooklyn “Brookie Cookie” Krummi – Manyiah “Nyiahs” Walker – Easton “Bubs” Tuft – Rylie “Rylie Butts” Krummi – Jaxon Butler – Brighten “Shaboo” Tuft – Zach Walker – Addison “Addy Baby” Tuft.
Her nephews and nieces were the light of her life that she loved dearly. Keaton Tso (Zoe, Daughter) – Nyle Tso – Larae Tso – Reese Tso – Devon Tso – Kamryn Perkins (Logan Perkins, Husband) – Skylar Tso (Oceanna, Daughter) – Adrian Tso – Alicita Tso; her cousin’s “sisters” Regina Diaz (Jodi, Husband) – Kalyn Jensen (Kameron Jensen, Husband) – Ralyn Montoya (Alex Montoya, Husband) – Mary Diaz (Jody Diaz, Son) – Alberta Henderson (and family); her best friend Veronica “Bunny” Hardy (and family) – and in laws, Sherry and Frank Slaugh – Jerry and Terri Worthen – Travis and Kim Worthen - Pat and Karen Henderson.
Family was truly everything to Pauletta.
The funeral service will be held 12:00 noon, Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah 84123.
