Pauline Ngit Ngo Goo Fo Dang, 89 years old, returned to her Heavenly Father on December 31, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Mom was born on May 25, 1927 to Alice Kam Goo and Yung Tuck Goo on O'ahu, Hawaii. She was later adopted by Mew Lan Lum Fo and Tin Kyun Fo. Mom married her sweetheart, James Anthony Dang, on June 5, 1948 in Honolulu, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Hawaii Temple in May 1980. Our mom was a wonderful homemaker. She loved to sew, knit, crochet, do crossword puzzles, garden, and enjoyed being with her family. Later, she worked as a stock clerk at Hartfield's clothing store where she retired after 25 years. Mom and Dad moved to Utah after their retirement. Our mother was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings; her most favorite was Junior Sunday School Coordinator (Primary President). She loved serving the children and has always loved children. Like Dad, Mom loved everyone and talked with everybody. Mom is survived by five children: Patricia (Tim) Domingo of Kihei, Maui; Robert (Larilyn) of Taylorsville; Karen (Jacob) Fitisemanu of Taylorsville; David of DeSoto, Iowa; and Paulette (Ken) Takata of Sandy; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sisters Violet (passed away on January 1, 2017) and Beatrice, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by her eternal companion, James; her parents; sisters, Hazel and Florence; brothers, Charles and Henry. Our mother was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, friend and neighbor, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:15am Friday, January 13, 2017 at Apple Farms Ward, 3751 South 2200 West (West Valley City). A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9am 10am.
