Born on January 3, 1960, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, to Vicente Eleatro Vega Rodriguez and Hilda Concepcion Obando Calvache, Piedad's journey was one marked by unwavering strength, unyielding dedication, and boundless love.

Piedad was more than just a name; she was the epitome of hard work and selflessness. Throughout her illness, she fought with a spirit that inspired all who knew her. Her tenacity was remarkable, as she continued to work tirelessly to support her family, even in the face of adversity. Piedad's dedication to those she loved was a testament to her remarkable character.

She had a special connection with nature, finding solace and joy in the company of her cherished chickens, birds, and, most notably, her beloved dogs.
