R. Jolene "Jo" Olsen Prickett

Ruth "Jolene" Olsen Prickett returned to her Heavenly Family on April 26, 2017. She was born at home in Park City, Utah, February 28, 1937 to Lloyd A. & Grace N. Olsen. Always full of unwavering faith, Jolene served in many callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Primary, with the children, was her favorite. Grandma Jo loved music and spent much of her youth dancing the nights away. She loved people, airplanes, Chicago Bears football and sewing for her little ones. She was an incredibly hard worker and held jobs as music department manager, secretary, waitress, mother and friend. She was described as being not only a good friend but a TRUE friend and she cherished her friendships. She was a loving and generous soul. She was always willing to give to others and she gave until the end. Jolene's family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all of the doctors, nurses, care givers and staff at Aspen Park Rehab and Silverado Hospice for filling her final days with love. Preceded in death by father Lloyd Azle Olsen; mother Grace Euphemia Nielson Olsen; brothers Robert L. Olsen (Donna), Melvin R. Olsen (Helen), Jack E. Olsen; and 3 infant brothers; first husband, Mont Goff; second husband, John F. Prickett; special daughter, Paula Kay "Pickles" Prickett; infant grandson Dustin LaMont Prickett; and daughter-in-law Dawn Prickett Montet. Survived by sons Dennis L. Prickett and Jeffery P. Prickett; daughters Cindy L. (Chell) and L S. "Lu" Prickett; grandchildren: Cody Pricket, Larissa P. Pittenger (Rick), Jeremy J. Winegar (Carol), Anthony J. Winegar (Gina), Michael J. Winegar (Cidne), Daniel J. Winegar, Scott J. Winegar, Trace J. Winegar, Samuel J. Winegar and Kaitlin Jolene Winegar; and eight great-grandchildren: Brayden, Carter, Liam, Preston, Owen, Anna, Ben and Lilly; and sister-in-law Betty Olsen (Jack). Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood, where viewings will be held Monday, May 1st, 6-8:00 p.m. and again prior to services on Tuesday from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
