Ralph Marshall Stamp, our beloved husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa left us to go home to his Heavenly Father Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at the young age of 77.
Born December 23, 1943, in Belfast Northern Ireland to Arthur Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Stamp. Married to Margit Herta Vielstich June 10, 1966, in the Salt Lake Temple.
Preceded in death by his beautiful, loving wife Margit; his parents; and grandparents; his grandson Skyler; and his brothers John (Jackie) Anderson Stamp, and Arthur Stamp Jr.
He is survived by his children Stephen (Lisa) and Jennifer Stamp Harris (Matt); his grandchildren Bryce (Leah), Corin, Marissa, Cameron, Tyson, Haylee, Dylon, Logan, and Mikayle; great-grandchildren Liam Stephen (Bryce) and Ensley Skylar Sessions (Marissa). He is also survived by his brother David Stamp (Judy); his sisters Laraine Lawson, and Patricia Stamp.
Ralph was an active and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held many church callings including serving a mission to the Northern British Mission which became the Northern Scottish Mission. He served from July 1, 1961, to 1963. He also served as a scoutmaster, Young Men’s President, Bishopric many times, a seventy, and on the high council. But his greatest calling was teaching Gospel Doctrine Class.
We want to thank all the heroes that helped with dad’s care, especially those with the Lodge -Riverton and Sara from Hospice.
A viewing will be held from 10am to 11am Monday Nov. 8th, 2021, at McDougal Funeral Home 4330 So. Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Ut 84123. Graveside Services will be held Monday Nov. 8th, 2021, 11:30am at Wasatch Lawn Memorial, 3401 So. Highland Drive, Millcreek, UT 84106.
