Ray Clyde Lambert 1931 ~ 2013 Ray passed away October 7, 2013 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was known as a kind and loving husband and father. He was born May 26, 1931 in Altonah, Utah to Clyde and Martha May Rhoades Lambert. He served his country during the Korean War, 1951-1953. Married the love of his life, Billie Jeane Allred, November 24, 1950. He loved to work and was a "Jack of all Trades". He owned several businesses including home building. He loved to hunt and fish. He and Jeane served a mission from 1995-96 in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania mission. He served as a veil worker in the Jordan River Temple off and on for 18 years. He kept a nice garden and yard and taught his family how to work. They became parents of five children: Raymond Clyde (Kerri), Valerie (Karlan) Richardson, Karson J. (Lenna), Kimberly (Andy) Lewis, Kristine (Gerald) Higgins; 25 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; sisters Lucy Back and Florence Mecham. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the South Jordan 3rd Ward, 9750 South 2200 West where viewings will be held Friday, October 11, 2013, 6-8 p.m. and again Saturday, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, South Jordan City Cemetery.
