Ray Sidney Weekes

Our loving father, Ray Sidney Weekes, peacefully returned home on the morning of June 11, 2017. Born in Rigby, Idaho to Ernest & Pearl Weekes on September 13, 1932, growing up in Archer, Idaho. After serving in the U.S. Navy, Dad married Donna Fay Dennis on October 12, 1956 in the Idaho Falls Temple. They had four children: Linda (Garth) Wilkey, Pamela (Markal) Merrell, Dennis (Denine) Weekes and Stephanie (Thomas) Gwyther; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. He worked for the airlines for 36 years. Dad served faithfully as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in his ward and as a temple worker. Preceded in death by wife, Donna; son Dennis; daughter Pamela; grandson Joseph. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 17, 20017, 1:00 p.m. at Academy Park Ward, 4605 Westpoint Drive. Viewings will be held Friday, June 16th, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 12-12:45 p.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
