Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Rea McIntosh, 81, passed away September 17, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah, after showing to all who knew her a shining example of love and happiness while enduring a life filled with physical hardships and pain. She was born December 2, 1932 in Junction, Utah to Maynard and Mary Bevan McIntosh. She lived the majority of her life in the home where she was born and loved it. Rea was an active member of the LDS Church and enjoyed serving in various callings in the primary and young women organizations, and most recently taking charge in the Sunday school class. She loved to read, complete work search puzzles, spend time with family, and hold any baby she could. Survived by her son, Kirk (Nicole); beautiful granddaughters, Jaci, Merida and Avery; brother, Bevan (Carla); numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lois and Marva. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014, 3:00 p.m. at the Hunter 14th Ward, 3450 South 6400 West where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. An additional service will be held Monday, September 22, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at the Circleville 1st Ward, 195 West 200 S., Circleville, Utah where a viewing will beheld one hour prior to services.
