Reed Lambert

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother, Uncle, and friend, Reed David Lambert. He peacefully passed away in his sleep on the morning of August 3, 2024.

Reed was born to Richard George Lambert and Vivian Reed Lambert (both deceased) on May 27, 1962, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Reed grew up in Kearns, Utah where he attended Kearns High School. Reed had a love of all sports, especially baseball and bowling. Reed played in many leagues and tournaments while growing up at the local Valley Lanes. This was a passion in the Lambert family. Reed also played baseball throughout his childhood and was a natural athlete. He played on many all- star teams in his youth. As Reed grew older, he fell in love with his go-to NFL team, The Denver Broncos and loved his Utah Jazz! If you knew Reed, you would always see him sporting his favorite blue and orange bomber jacket and Bronco hats. Reed was a gifted brick mason and mechanic. He would always help others when they had any type of mechanical issues. You would be sure to see multiple cars at his parents' home that he would be working on. He loved muscle cars and enjoyed attending nearby car shows. To be around Reed would mean to be smiling & laughing. He always loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. He also loved watching WWE wrestling with his mom. He was always looking to have fun in life and normally had a beer in his hand while he was visiting with anyone. His favorite people in life were his daughters. He loved them more than anything and wanted to spend time with them whenever he could. Some of his daughters' fondest memories with Reed would be when they would all pile in his Durango with their cousins & blast Eminem and "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey. When Reed was not spending time with family, you would find him sitting in his favorite chair in the front yard, accompanied by his dog Buddy (deceased) & later his dearest girl, Pepper. Later in life his health declined, and he was living in an assisted living center. His family survives knowing he is free of pain, his frustration with his lack of mobility and speech, and is now spiritually whole and reunited with his beloved parents and sister.

Survived by his loving children; Rickilynn, Shelbee (Landon), Tanya (Mark) Gonzales, Lashelle. Grandchildren; Daniella Priego, David Priego, Julian, BreeLynn Gonzales, Addison Gonzales, Brantley Gonzales, Austin Gonzales, Dominick Gutierrez, Liam Israel, Krew Israel, Tatem Marshall, Paisley Prowell. Siblings: Randy (Connie), Rick (Kelly), Robbie (Shannon), Venetia (Mike) Frandsen. Nieces and Nephews; Jamie (Alex) Salazar, Jeremy (Staci), Christopher (Kiana), Tyler (Kaylin), Matthew (Jenn), Mercedes, Austin (Sidnie) Frandsen, Savanah (Tristen) Petersen, Siarra (Austin) Rekoutis. Great Nieces; Amilia Frandsen and Emerie Rekoutis. Preceded in death by his parents Richard and Vivian Lambert; Sherieve Sue, sister.

A private ceremony for his immediate family will be held to scatter his ashes up American Fork Canyon. Reed's Celebration of life will be held on Friday August 16, 2024, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Please contact family for the details.
