Reva T. Parker Beloved Mother Reva Thorne Parker, 86, passed away October 20, 2012 in Logan, Utah. Born July 25, 1926 in American Fork, Utah, daughter of Silas S and Mary Olive Shelley Thorne. Married James Keith Parker March 19, 1948 in the Salt Lake Temple; he preceded her in death February 3, 2008. Family was the center of her life - her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A city girl at heart, she showed selfless love supporting her husband as they raised their three children on a small farm in Bennion, Utah. Disliking water, she spent endless hours with the family on water skiing trips. Reva loved her work in the medical field. She was employed before her marriage by Dr. Richards, in Bingham Canyon, and later worked at Memorial Medical Clinic and for Dr. George E. Eason. At age 67 she retired as a Unit Coordinator on the Oncology floor at LDS Hospital. Mom was a lifelong member of the LDS Church and served in various capacities. She enjoyed traveling and get- togethers with family. Survived by children: Ralph (Diana) Parker, Marilyn (Rod) King and Judy (Brad) Sorensen; 8 grandchildren: Anne, Mark, Michael, Sara, Amy, Michelle, Jacob, Kevin; 23 great-grandchildren; sisters Alta (Gene) Cunliffe and Marilyn (Monte) Groesbeck; brother David Thorne. Also preceded in death by sister Afton Hallet. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 26, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where viewings will be held Thursday, October 24, 2012, 6-8 p.m. and Friday, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
