Rhea Mae Bracken Pool Beloved Mom & Grandma Our beautiful and cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother rejoined her heavenly family May 6, 2013, at the age of 87, after a brief illness. Born March 12, 1926 in Roosevelt, Utah, to George and Ellen Todd Bracken. She married Charles Maurice Pool November 13, 1948; later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. A member of the LDS Church, Rhea worked in the Relief Society and Primary. She was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, working on various crafts and reading. She spent a lot of time camping, hunting and fishing with dad. She collected dolls, spoons, teapots and music boxes. Rhea was always happy and instantly loved by all who came to know her. She loved her family very much and was a true confidante to all those around her. Rhea is survived by daughter, Kathy (Keith) Gilley; sons Ron (Colleen) Pool and Phillip (Barbara) Pool; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her beloved Chuck ; daughter, Barbara; grandson, Kerry Gilley. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to her special aides at the Beehive Home where she resided for the past three years. She loved them all but especially Connie, Ceara, Dom, Micayla, Elyse, Sergio, Maria, Laura, LJ and Michelle. They took such wonderful care of her! She felt their love and they truly became family to her. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the Jordan 3rd Ward, 3676 West 4700 South. Viewings will be held Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Wednesday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
