Ricardo Don Uruchurtu

Ric was born September 16, 1943, to Cuffie and Carlos Gabriel Uruchurtu. He left us May 11, 2022.

He married Vauneil Syndergaard May 5, 1979. They just celebrated their 43^rd wedding anniversary. They raised seven kids together.

Dad was a talented stone cutter and block mason. He worked on many projects throughout the United States such as military projects, jails, prisons, schools and the restoration of the Nauvoo Temple.

He liked fishing, hunting and wood carving, but most of all, spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife Vauneil; his three sons Carlos, Rick, Brian (Tina); his four daughters Cathy, Kerry (Gary), Karen (Kevin), Camille; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah, where a gathering will precede services from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment, Stansbury Park Cemetery, Stansbury, Utah.
